Prof. Mudiyanse Dissanayaka🧑‍🎓

 


        Mudiyanse Dissanayaka was born in the mountain country to a family who had inherited the hill country classical dancing traditions. As a young student at the department of aesthetic studies in the University of kelaniya, he consolidated his knowledge of the performing arts of Sri Lanka. 

       He defended his doctor thesis on performing art at the University of Sri jayawardanapura, and after  that went on to earn a diploma in kathak dancing from South India. He works as the director of the department of dancing at the institute of aesthetic studies of the University of kalaniya.

My unforgettable experience 🥺😊

        Life is full unexpected circumstances. The most unforgettable moment of my life is when my mom died🥺.  Tears run down my eyes whenever it slipped my mind. Her death caused us a lot of pain until this very day🥺. Life itself is full of mystery that is really unexplainable.             Last April 2025 marks the day of our misery. I was waking at that time😪. When I received a message from my father telling me that mom already passed away. I remember how my heart burst with complete madness, how stunned I was with the news that I couldn't ever move my head.. My hand were shaking and sweating. I can ever hear my heart pounding. I cannot believe what I just heard. It was heartbreaking. I rushed to the hospital to see my mom. But when I arrived there. She was already gone. I regretted that day. I didn't even say my last goodbye to her, there's still a lot of things I wanted to tell her. But it was too late. I have a lot of dreams...
